In bad viewing circumstances (rain, fog, night) the game now looks very pixelated and grainy. I'd go as far to say it looks a lot better than the 360 version even though that has higher resolution.
The visuals are colourful and clear, draw distance is amazing (experienced no pop ins), also it plays way smoother and seems to have gotten a significant FPS boost. You did an amazing job, it's almost a new game. Delete GTA IV main game data if previously installed of the vanilla version and run the ISO, let the now modded game data install again.Create a new ISO from the modded folder.Replace the files in the folder game as instructed in the mod readme.Copy your game disc as a game in folder format to your HDD.Fixed a bug where cars' shadows weren't showing correctly at night.Added common.edat for the US version of the game (NPUB30702).NOTE: if you use the custom common.rpf the initial logos won't show up and the game will directly load, if you have a black screen when the game is loading that's normal Let me know what you think and if you have found some bugs.
Today I'm finally releasing a new update to my mod pack for GTA: IV, and it's huge.
